who do you think gave the best show at ICONS: Metallica...

Did you guys see Staind on mtvICONS: Metallica? Even though they played Metallica's most infamous ballad, "nothing else matters", they still rocked the hell out of it! Aaron is so emotional. he always looks so distant. I LOVE that. bizkit was pretty dope too, but I gotta give all my love to STAIND.

Staind's newest single is pretty rockin. i'm down with it for sure.

They did far from that imo. They werent able to catch any of the 2nd distinct guitar notes for that song, just the main note over and over again.

Metallica was the best part, everything else about the show sucked hard. How limpbizkit is a signed band is beyond me.

The new song was definately heavier than Load and Reload. I still need to hear more of it to form a valid opinion though. I am however feeling a little better about this album.

I only saw two performances: Avril (her band sounded okay, but she sucked), and Korn (at least I think it was Korn), they sucked too.

thanks to mtv for cutting off the last song...(frantic?) but, from what i heard, it sounds like metallica is back to where they were supposed to be following "...and justice for all".

ps - i'm new.

Smells like a shill.

Anyway, all in all MTVicon: Metallica sucked until the last 10 minutes.

Aside from Metallica's performance, and the past history videos, were you honestly expecting something good from this?

Wait, Jim Brewer(sp?) was cool.

Wouldn't it have been better, if they showed the history of Metallica video, then had them play a concert? No we can't have have that, we have to cut Metallica off so Limp Bizkit and Avril can play.

Don't worry, you weren't the one they thought was a shill...Rockerhud was. A shill is basically someone who comes here for the sole reason of promoting something.

Welcome to the forum by the way.
