Re: O_O GT4 PS2 Pics

So am I the only one that noticed the multiple "O"s in the title ... is this a reference like this game looks so good I am having multiple O's over it?

If they did put those cars in there, I don't you would want to drive them Muscle cars from the 70's, while very fast, are meant to go straight ahead (drag style). As soon as those things get into a corner, its like driving a pick-up.

If it's a 1000 cars, it will definitely have old Chargers, a '69 Daytona, a 73 or an 88 vette, or even a 88 Honda Civic CRX.

Lets hope not a '73 or '88 Vette! Its gotta be pre-70 or post 96 to be worth its weight.

Like I said, it'll be almost any model of car, 1000 cars?

I pick the 93 Dodge Caravan!

OK, so I'll be patiently waiting. But, I hope to God it's better than the flawed mess that was GT3.

Granted, if it wasn't flawed, it wouldn't be a Gran Turismo game, but in my mind, the flaws have gotten worse as the game goes through its iterations.

I'm still mad that even if you owned GT and GT2, you still have to start pretty much from scratch in GT3. No, you can't import your garage. No, you can't have the money you earned before. No, you can't import most of your licenses. I'm also tired of the 'specific race / specific car' format the game is slipping into. In previous versions, you could build up a few cars and use those to win most races. In GT2, they started manufacturer specific races and car specific races. In GT3, they elevated it to an art form, where 50% of the races required a special car that would never be used again. Since it cost about $100,000 to field a competitive car, you spent lots of time winning the same race over and over and over again in an attempt to build up cash so you could buy one car to win one race.

I won't even mention how you couldn't adjust the music volume in GT3, and thus, couldn't ever hear it.

GT3 was pretty, and was one of the best driving games I've ever played, but they really need to address some of the flaws in the game that aren't related to racing down the track.

Nothing surprising about those pics. It's just the somewhat high-res sky texture that's probaby catching your eye.
