Movies on DVD with Pregnancies/Childbirth

Hello all,

My wife and I recently found out that we are pregnant. I'd like to get some DVDs as a present that depict pregancies and/or childbirth.

We already own Father of the Bride 2 and Nine Months....two movies that my wife ABSOLUTELY loves.

Can anyone suggest any others? I'd prefer comedies.....and obviously nothing that deals with pregnancy tragedies (i.e. miscarriages.....we've already had one)

Any help would be appreciated!

'she's having a baby' is really touching. it's a comedy but does have some drama. great chemistry between the two characters.

The first Look Who's Talking is quite cute.

Although it was panned by critics, my wife and I both enjoyed Where the Heart Is.

You want a film that shows the beauty of childbirth, but still shows you how truly, disgustingly real it is...?

Well, that would be Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland, then.

"Why do people shoot videos of childbirth? Up until the kid's born, it's just porn." - Wanda Sykes

Another "childbirth" movie would be Sean Penn's The Indian Runner.

Hard Boiled takes place in a maternity ward. Some of the kids are pretty darn cute too.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned it yet, so I may as well:

Alien

Most realistic birthing scene I have ever witnessed!

Mike

P.S. Since nobody else has said this to you either, let me be the first to say, "Congratulations!"

The Omen

Three Men and a Baby, but that's for later

I would have said Rabbit Test, but it doesn't seem to be on DVD.
