Review Wanted: Xena: First Season

Its due to come out on April 29, yet I couldn't find any reviews of it. Due to its high list price (89.99 $), im quite hesitant to pick it up since I was never an ardent fan (but Xena has always been a guilty pleasure for me). Thanks

No reviews, but deepdiscountdvd.com has it for only 54.00 so I might pick it up. Mainly because its shot on location in New Zealand though and I like NZ. :-)

Out of the 27 TV show box sets I own, this is BY FAR the WORST picture quality I've seen thus far for a TV series.

The grain is horrible! Some of the dark scenes aren't even watchable as the grain is so bad you can't see what's going on. I had to force myself to finish the set, and have no plans to continue with future sets if they don't address the picture quality.

Yup, the picture was grainy, had some soft focus, and should've been better to look at but I stand by my comments in the review.
