Only 8 more days till Street 2 hits the street. (pun intended) I can't wait to pick this up. So, if you have any info related to this game post it here! I will be as soon as I get it!

I don't think it's online, I'm getting it on GCN only because of the wavebird. And the grafX looked sharper on it.

On campus there was a game demonstration van the other day and I picked up a playable demo of Street Vol2. The game is basically more of the same with some interesting upgrades, so if you enjoyed the first you will be happy with this one.

Biggest Additions:
1) 4 Player
2) 2 Player Co-op - you are set to one player without the ability to switch, and the 3rd is CPU controlled with you giving him command to pass/shoot
3) Turbo Block - a tall guard can grab the ball every time instead of simply slapping a shot away, definitely makes the game easier, I beat the CPU 21-1
4) Level 2 Gamebreakers - After getting the first gamebreaker you can hit a button and it stores the gamebreaker, once you have built the meter up again you can do a super shot that uses all three member of your team, is virtually unblockable, and does some serious damage to your opponents score (+2,-4)
5) More animated graphic style
6) Better Music
7) Some new moves like bouncing it off the backboard/opponents head. Not very important for gameplay, but good for trash talking.

With the demo allowing me to play up to 4 player pick-up games, I dont know if I will be picking this one up since I already have the original, but for anyone who isnt in this situation I highly recommend this game.

I'll probably get the GC version eventually, but I'll probably wait for it to drop to $20. I rarely play multiplayer, and the original got old pretty quick in single player.

Actually stores are getting it on Friday, but with a street date of the 29th. I was told to break street date if someone else does.

The controls look to be the best on the PS2. But can anyone confirm whether the PS2 has 16:9 support?

I picked it up yesterday at EB. The rosters are updated, you can now "pocket" gamebreakers, and it looks awesome. I got the GC version and it's "off the heezay" (get the game, you'll get the slang).

I picked it up yesterday, definitely a fun game. And one of easiest b-ball games to block shots with, especially with Yao Ming.

The controls work real well. The C stick gives you control of the player w/out the ball so you can ally-oop yourself. The L,R,Z work as turbo. It's functional.

For those of you interested, I don't know if there's a better deal or not, but I found a good seller on half.com selling it for $52 or so. I added the 15 off 50 coupon (code: SEMESTER), and after shipping it came out to a bit over $39. Not bad for a game I've been waiting for for a while.

ANyways, that's all.

Well, that game sure looks like fun. I'm still going to wait, though. EA Big games have a nasty habit of dropping to $20 very quickly. I'll see if this one follows the established pattern.

not likely in a while Decker since IGN is calling this the Sports title of the Year(at least until the fall football titles come out). Gave it a 9.4 or something.

I am picking up the Xbox version for the graphics and 5.1 surround. Only difference they say among all the versions.

I can't wait to get it, hopefully wednesday.

I think the biggest benefit the ps2 controller has over the gamecube for this game is the 4 shoulder buttons. I don't know how SSX worked on the Gamecube, but I don't see myself getting used to just the R, L, and Z shoulders of the GCN.

Get this game, no matter your system of choice! The XBox version IS 480P WS even though the box says otherwise. This game is really fantastic.

There is a glitch in the gamecube version that allows people who have their shot blocked after the shot clock expires to retain possession if the ball is in the air or on the ground for over a second or two. This glitch arises every other game or so for me. I average about 15-20 blocks per game. Don't know about the glitch on any other system. It is mildly irritating.
