Hunter: It's still on tv?

I almost choked on a muffin watching previews for this today. Hunter is still pumping out episodes. Dee Dee is what, 55? Hunter is like, 75? Some shows just don't know when they're dead. I saw a quick take of Hunter jumping over a rail. Jeeez. I wonder how many paramedics were standing by for that little stunt.

"Help! I've fallen. And I can't get up!"

From what I understand, it was cancelled in the early 90s. Then NBC did a reunion tv movie that did good enough numbers that they decided to bring the show back. It's certainly one of the stranger programming twists in recent memory.

I question the comeback too. They were cancelled in 1991, and recently had a couple of Hunter reunion movies, and now the comeback series. He is getting a little long in the tooth for these types of roles, but not as old as you suggest. A net bio (many of which lie) says he was born in 1946, and began playing pro ball in 1969, so that is consistent, and makes him 56 (younger than OldDude, but I think he looks older, maybe 62-65.)Stephanie Kramer's bio claims she was born in 1956, and is 46 now, which looks about right.
