Popeye + others from paramount
from DVDFILE.COM
Just in from Paramount Home Entertainment is a lineup of spinach-powered fun perfect for the dog days of summer. Streeting on June 24th is the long-awaited, first-ever DVD release of Robert Altman's Popeye, along with the Fran Drescher comedy Beautician and the Beast. Both come in new remastered anamorphic widescreen transfers with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround remixes. Beast also includes an audio commentary with Drescher. Debuting a week later on July 1st is the Danny Glover adventure Flight of the Intruder, along with the oft-postponed The Tenant, from recent Oscar-winner Roman Polanski. Both are presented in anamorphic widescreen, with Intruder getting the full-blown 5.1 treatment and The Tenant mono only. There are no extras aside from a trailer on the latter. Retail is $19.95 each.

I wasn't planning to buy 'Beast', but with the Fran Drescher commentary, I will.
edited to add that I'll definitely be picking up Popeye as well. Finally!

I hope the Tenant really comes out this time, if it's a choice between no extras or no release of the movie, I choose no extras.
I'll probably get Popeye too, but that will be a blind buy for me.

Popeye will definitely be a must-own for me, and Beautician might be interesting with a commentary track from Fran Drescher so I will have to pick that up as well. Now I just want my Top Gun SE from Paramount!
