the west wing - 4/2/03
next day and no thread. the episode wasn't bad. tsk tsk.
the thing that i didn't like about it was the cast splitting in two. the best part about the show is how the characters play off each other, and they couldn't do it very well this episode as there was the plane staff and the white house staff.
the episode was a step back to the more dramatic side of the show as there were far less jokes and comedy. wasn't the best episode but i still think it is the best show on the air.

Another blah episode. I've been pretty dissapointed with West Wing this season and I have made no secret that I think it is slipping.
However, the single best exchange of the night was btwn Toby and the congressman.
CM: Have you ever been in a maximum security prison, Toby?
Toby: Maximum? No.

i didn't really care for the episode overall, just because i didn't think much of the main storyline about AF1. to me, if there is any plane in the world that is going to be as safe as possible from harm, it's that one.
the best part of the night was bartlett's face at the end when the col. was talking about the wind difficulties. and then he slammed the door.

Still while I agree it wasn't a great or even very good episode, I've watched a lot worse things on TV this week.
