Reality show producer Mark Burnett first had contestants looking to survive in the jungle with "Survivor" -- now, with the help of business tycoon Donald Trump, he'll see if they can survive in the corporate jungle, too.
According to The Associated Press, 20 people will compete for a job with Trump on the upcoming NBC reality show "The Apprentice," and the winner will receive a six-figure salary.
"The Apprentice" comes on the heels of several successful reality shows, including ABC's "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," CBS' latest "Survivor" installment, NBC's "Fear Factor" and FOX's "Joe Millionaire."
In "The Apprentice," contestants will be given a series of job assignments. The network says contestants who don't complete their tasks will be grilled by Trump and his key executives.
Trump will then fire one contestant each week.
In a statement, Trump said the show is "a way to discover a new generation of business leaders in a fun, entertaining and cutthroat way -- not unlike the real business world."
