Vertical Horizon - where'd they go?

In 2000, they hit the summit on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with the single "Everything You Want" and had a radio hit with "You're A God," which resulted in their album Everything You Want reaching the Top 40.

No word from them since.

Their label RCA had a management change. There's no date on this, but it is after last september. Seems like they have new material ready and are going to tour.

It's called they aren't hip hop or pop punk. Therefore, they failed.

monkey balls? Come on, give them some credit - they had a good pop formula, and wrote some decent, memorable tunes.

That were played into the ground by ClearChannel and then, mercifully, exiled back into the oblivion from whence they came.

You guys are mad, VH will certainly be back. Their new CD, "Go" is just awaiting managament's go-ahead, and it will be released (it was ready late last fall, but all sorts of label stuff happened to delay it).

They are by no means a "one-hit wonder" (as the first poster noted, they had at least two hits already, three if you count "Best I Ever Had" which did decent, too). As a fan of them since their first CD (Everything You Want is their fourth), I have to disagree with most statements here. I think they have some great lyrics (especially their early stuff).

But, to each their own. I wouldn't count them out yet, though...
