For those wondering whether or not to get the box set.

The start of the best 2 years "Pilot Episode":
At the onset of their sophomore year of high school, Dawson Leery and his best friend, Josephine "Joey" Potter, battle with the knowledge that their lifelong friendship may be changing. Adding to Joey's confusing emotions is the arrival of the radiant Jennifer Lindley, who appears to be "the girl next door," but has an air of mystery surrounding her as she harbors a dark secret from her past. Rounding out the clique is Pacey, whose gift for sarcasm is topped only by an over-confident knack for stumbling awkwardly unprepared into adult situations.

After you watch this, pick the boxset up next month.

I'm taping this as I have never seen the Pilot before. I think I got hooked sometime in the middle of the 1st season.

Which season was the Breakfast Club ep?

$25.99 at AMAZON (35% off) and that's without STL! That's not bad for 3 discs.

OMG! I just watched the pilot, and if that wasn't the best 1 hour ad for a season set, I don't know what is.

I started watching Dawson's Creek around 2 years ago, so it's sort of interesting to see how it began with the pilot, but with the knowledge of what happened in their transition from high school life and relationships.

I'm tempted to get the season set now that I've seen the pilot episode.

And then I find this article on how TBS will be showing 4 hours of Dawson's Creek on the weekdays starting March 31st in a joint venture to drum up viewership for the final run of episodes on the WB. Episodes will air from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the weekdays.

Here's the article.

I was going to buy the Season 1 set, but may just opt for setting up my Showstopper ReplayTV to record the high school years (I think I've seen all of the college years episodes). Time to up my recording capacity in my Showstopper!
