There is a current one with a guy on a crazy treadmill. It knocks him down then starts up again. You have to see it.
I like the VW commercials:
The one where the guy sees the dealer approaching the VW he is looking at then suddenly licks the door handle.
the one where the guy parks his car infront of the grocery store as a shopping cart slowly approaches the car. Suddenly out of nowhere from off camera the guy tackles the shopping cart.
the little ceasars commercials used to be pretty funny.

my favorite of the past few years was the Nike commercial that first aired during the olympics last year. a black and white commercial that flows through a wide array of sports. i have an inclination to say that it was titled "Move", but don't quote me on that.

I like the one where that guy is speeding through an empty downtown LA in his car, spinning around, driving backwards, etc. That's the 110 near Staples Center, and I drive that every day to and from work, and it's a dream.
Of course, I can't remember what car it was, so it's not that good of a commercial. And I wonder what kind of traffic jam they caused to film that commercial...

Is spite of all the annoying “Kin ya hear me now?” commercials, Verizon had one that got me peeing my pants. The one where the ferret jumps at the guy and latches onto his tongue. Moral of the story, never stick your tongue out at a ferret.
There’s another that I saw for the first time last night: a chimp with a banana to his ear doing an imitation of the irritating putz. If I wasn’t SO done with his act, this parody would be funny.
BTW, Verison was NOT on the list of companies I checked out when I got a new cell phone a coupla months ago.

My current favorites..
"If there were no sports, who would coach?" - ESPN
Different points of view of armchair coaches. It just nails it perfectly.
"Geriatric Rocky" - TMC
Old folks put on Rocky as a play.
"I want you.. I want the Stallion" Hysterical.
"The Morpho-ray" & "The Devastator" - Racthet & Clank
"Dude, we just turned him into a chicken"
And the geek jumping up and down after torching the tree and boat.

Recent:
Terry Tate.
The Discover card commercials with the ninjas. Only caught the end of it but it was hilarious.
Older:
Shaq in a leotard a couple years back. I think it was for a financial firm.
ESPN Commercials.

Any of the Nike soccer (football) commercials, especially:
1. The one from '94 (I think) with the Nike "all-star" team playing against the forces of darkness. The commercial was narrated by Max von Sydow, and was brilliant.
2. The ones from last year with the players involved in the bizarre cargo-ship tournament run by Eric Cantona. There were two different ads, both directed by Terry Gilliam.

the budweiser with the "how you doin'" "I'm doing fine! just got in from texas"
another is the PS2 commercial where the tree fell on the house and it goes back in time all the way back to where a passing nomad spits a seed on the ground. very cool idea.

Plenty of good ones mentioned so far.........
I know I'm in the minority, but I like the Mitsubishi/Dirty Vegas/girl with the dance moves in the car commercial.

That Pizza Hut one they are playing now for the golden ring.
Him - I got a surprise for you
Her - Does it come in a box
Him - Yeah
Her - Is it gold
Him - Yeah
Her - Is it a ring
Him - Close your eyes
Then it shows him eating the pizza and
Her - Can I open my eyes yet?
Him - No, not yet. (On his 3rd piece of the pie)

also like the new circuit city ads where the men act like children when they get to shop there!
i'm probably in the minority here for this one but i really liked that nike (?) commercial (spoken in french) where the guy was trying to outrun the chicken. it was just too bizarre not to laugh at.
