HBO's next drama series?

Oz is over, and The Sopranos will be over in a year or so. What's next for HBO? Has anyone heard anything about their plans. What would you like to see?

I've love a good hard sci-fi series, but I doubt we'll see that.

I would place each of The Wire and Six Feet Under in a list of the Top 10 series on television right now, so I don't see any drop-off with the loss of Oz and soon The Sopranos. Between new seasons of each and the final season of The Sopranos, they have plenty of time to get a new series ready to go, which I assume will be Deadwood.

Aye, great question, I been thinking same thing. Sci-fi would be so great, like x-files. I love to see HBO take stab at that genre. I just not interested in whats left on HBO, dont match drama I got from sopranos and oz, actually likely be calling today take of channel until sopranos airs again.

I think I read somewhere that Ron Moore (from Trek and the new Battlestar Galactica mini) was working on an HBO show called: Carnivale.

Per IMDB: "An escaped convict with a mysterious secret (that he may or may not even know about) joins up with a travelling carnival in the dustbowl"

Not exactly a stellar HBO type idea, sounds more like a show that belongs on Sci-Fi........right next to Tremors the Series.

Re-runs of First and Ten would be fine by me.

I'm hoping that when Vertigo's 100 Bullets comic finishes in a couple of years, HBO adapts it for the small screen.

I've seen the Pilot for Carnivale, it's far different than anything they've ever aired, one of the more bizzare shows that I've seen.

Hi,
I wish HBO would take a look at the Vertigo Comics series 100 Bullets. It would make a great show.
