Is this your first GBA, zero? Or did you have one without an Afterburner? Just wondering if anyone with a GBA w/AB is gonna be upgrading. I think I'll just pass...

This is my second GBA. There is this guy that keeps coming into my store and asking me if I want to install the kit into my GBA, I told him I'd think about it, but when I heard the price I told him to go F off. Dork wanted $75 for parts and labor.

Cost me $153.50 for the unit itself (Jet Black), and $13.13 UPS Second-Day Air. Also paid nine bucks for the headphone adapter.

Provided, of course, NCSX actually comes through. . .

$75? Jeebus. I found a friend of mine to do it for me The SP looks snazzy, but I dunno if I need it. I hardly play my GBA ... My friend is in Japan right now and picked up the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance LE with the pearl white SP. Can't wait to see it when she gets back!

She doesn't go too often - unfortunately I wish I would've known she was going, I had my ZOE 2 LE sent to a friends place there and it cost $40 to have it shipped here. Sigh. Would've saved me some money.

I had a friend of a friend who got me one of the Biohazard berettas. I wanted her to get me a few of the other guns but I lost touch with her . When it comes ot LEs I'd give my Turbo-Duo to get them cheaper than most sites charge, but alas I missed out on Kingdom Hearts LE, and the same import shop I got my SP at had it for 110.00. I want to start importing PS2 games but this will have to wait. As it is I have toooo much im my small room so I am going to have to watch what I buy..or start throwing out the useless stuff I have like old mags and such.

I took some pics of the KH FM platinum goodies if you haven't seen them - e-mail me -- I think I've hijacked the thread enough

Go SP!

No offense, but $150 to import this? That doesn't seem worth it. You could get a modded US one that even has a dimmer (the SP doesn't) built into it for cheaper. I think I'll get one when I can get it for $50 maybe.

A modded US w/afterburner would be like $100. The GBA SP's will be $100 here. The black GBA SP won't be available in the US. I don't think that's too bad.

You have to have an importers thick skin.

No, it doesn't have Bluetooth.

For anyone in Dallas area-There's a small game store called FX in Stonebriar mall in Frisco that's got them for $130. I don't want one though, I'm just getting the GBA player for Gamecube.
