I felt the same way.

First, she acts up about the Immunity Idol being against the 10 Commandments. Get real! It's not like the tribe was worshiping it, for Pete's sake!

Then, she goes off on Christie in a big way over a little comment. When they flashed "Guidance Counselor" on the screen during her tirade, I just about fell off the couch.

That woman has some serious issues, and I feel really sorry for anyone who's being "guided" by her. Can't wait until they vote her off!

Joanna is cutting her own throat with all of her protestation of the idol's presence (and the "hand" crap). That's just carrying her baggage too far into the game. Where do the producers find these politically inept, but prideful contestants?

Christy, amazingly enough, is capable of being a whiny person whose attention span is shorter than a gnat's.

Those 2 are next on the chopping block, but Christy will go before Joanna due to Joanna being a physically stronger person.

Heidi's fake boobs are going to look really ridiculous the longer she stays in the game because she's got like 2% body fat.

Roger is also cutting his own throat with his bigotry.

Why do the guys also show up in the game cut and ripped? You need to pack on some pounds so that you won't be really emaciated the longer you stay in the game.

Butch looked really flustered acting as the traffic controller.

Why is it that the religious people always bother me the most on this show. I'm with Christy - having a cow about the Idol is stupid. It is a prop in a GAME for pete's sake. Nobody said you had to worship it. Joanna certainly would have gotten a vote from me last night.

Unfortunaltely, during trible council they all think of her as one of the leaders because of her strength.

Do they purposely look for very religious black people to be on Survivor ? Sean, Vecepia and now Joanna.

I have nothing against religious people being on the show but I don't need to hear them scream "Oh thank you lord Jesus Christ for allowing me to solve this puzzle faster than our opponents" and point to the sky while saying it.

I agree. I would try to be as PC as possible for those 39 days. For a million bucks, I think I could keep my feelings about such things to myself.

I agree that you see the behavior of some of these people (Joanna, Roger, etc.) and think, "What are you thinking? Just shut up! Can't you see that you're digging your own grave?"

But then I have to remember that these people are going on five days with hardly any food. If I just miss lunch I turn into a bear. Although I'm generally quite calm and rational, my wife jokes that if I were on Survivor I would be one of the first ones booted off.

Roger: Goes on a show which has prominently featured gay contestants in the past and proceeds to spout his intolerance after only a few days. "Sex is only for procreation." Oh, puh-leeze. Even if he was already sure that none of his fellow tribemates were gay, it seems like an incredibly stupid and devisive thing to do, especially in light of the votes he received at the first Tribal Council. Way to go, Roger!

Joanna: Goes on a show which rewards the victors with an Immunity Idol, then refuses to touch it, claiming that it is evil. (And that they were subjected to the downpour because of said idol.) Does that mean that she would rather lose a challenge than win that "graven image"? Her tribe should do her a favor and vote her off ASAP -- in order to save her soul, of course.

Both of them have moved to the top of my list of People Who Have Got to Go.

I am consistenly amazed at how much conflict people get into over silly things. Joanna is an angry angry person.....she has no business telling others what to do (guidance counselor)
