No. The show has not been cancelled. Someone just started it as a precaution I suppose.

well, the first half of the show really didn't do much for me, but then the last half came through. the whole stella/cheswick thing got really sappy but i think they managed to do a good job saving that plotline although it will be interesting to see how that plays out. the best part of the evening though was when carol came into talk to ed while he was doing the dishes. she is sexy already but damn, with the voice she had in that scene she sounded even better. she sounded kinda hoarse like she was sick or something. it was good to see her reaction to her own words about frankie 'not being too screwed up to realize about ed' or something like that anyway.

They need to kill Ryan! I can't believe Carol said that about herself. I couldn't believe the trailer for next week. I think the whole Ed and Frankie kissing scene is part of Ed's lucid dream.

That was my favorite little moment about the show.

Cheswick's reaction after Stella telling him that Carol wouldn't be back for an hour was classic.

I can't wait for next week's episode but knowing that it's Frankie's last show next week is kinda sad and kinda spoils the ending (unless there's something that I haven't heard yet)

I liked Carol's reaction to her "frankie may not be too screwed . . " line too. I suppose that if anything it might be a turning point for her and Ed.

As soon as I heard music playing while Stella was alone I said to myself, "Cheswick's outside, standing like John Cusack."

I missed last week's episode was there anything about Diane being gone? She's not listed in the credits anymore.

Honk!

My guess is that Ed and Frankie are going to admit that they have feelings for each other, but ultimately will decide that Frankie should see if she can salvage her other relationship first.

I felt that it was a rather weak episode, I'm not certain about the Ed-Frankie situation, but the Warren-Stella situation made me cringe so so so many times. When the music started up I said "They BETTER NOT be doing Say Anything," but alas they were I mean can anyone be as delusional as Warren is (I know that's one of his eccentricities, but DAMN)

This was a really good character-driven episode. That's it, all I got to say...besides "Oh....stella" LOL!

Regarding Ed and Frankie - my speculations:

Spoiler:
Ed and Frankie do the bowling alley bop, but Frankie decides to give Leon one more chance, and she leaves for Houston, but with mixed feelings, and that opens the door for more Frankie for Sweeps month in May.

Wasn't Stella on CSI last week as the hooker?

-edit- Nope, looked just like her though. Guess she also plays Brass's daughter.

so happy to find another ED forum

tom cavanagh did a decent job of direction with this week's show......
i'm just imagining the fun they had with the scene where carol is running down the street yelling "STELLLLLLLLLLAAAAA"
marlon brando would've been proud.

when is frankie leaving?!!

this was ep 6 for frankie. what happened? and i still see no sign of her leaving. maybe the writers are catering to the fans for one of the few times in history.

Finally got around to watching this episode. The Say Anything... send-up by Warren was hilarious.

ya know, I'm surprised Warren hasn't tried to do the obvious send-up of "streetcar named desire", standing outside her window yelling "Stella!!"

Is something wrong with Stella? When Carol accosts her in the street for missing the meeting w/ the bookstore owner, I thought it looked like she had been crying about something. The thing w/ her and Cheswick was the night before, if not earlier, so I don't think it was that. I just think that there's something that they're not telling us about her. Sucks to see that she probably has the same or similar self-esteem issues that her big sis has.
