Deathrow

hot damn, is this game a lot of fun. Kicking the crap out of people and scoring goals has never been this fun. Anyone else love the joy that is Deathrow?

Im still really interested in it. Im pretty low on cash now, but will probably get it soon reguardless. Also if anyone is interested, Ubisoft.com is selling it for $29.99. They also had a promo code "DRAGON" that supposedly took off $5.00, but I couldnt ever get it to work..

Is that $30 a limited time price or normal? I'm hoping to pick it up sometime but I'm a little short of cash at the moment.

thanks,
Tuan Jim

I was looking for a new multiplayer game me and my friends could play besides Halo. Is this one easy to just pick up and learn?

A couple of questions. I've just started playing in earnest in conquest mode and I'm wondering:

I know you can't change views once you start conquest, but is there any way to switch arenas when you start? I'm thinking that the reason I haven't been able to yet is because I'm playing in sports view and haven't actually unlocked any other sports view arenas yet -- why won't the smaller arenas let you play sports view?

Also, what exactly is one of those "one-timer", "one-shot" or whatever they're called goals. They're worth more money, but I'm not exactly seeing how they occur. Is it jumping and shooting right at the goal -- ie dunk or is it when you score on a deathrow shot?

A one timer is when you pass it and immediately shoot it at the net. Same as a one timer in hockey, and it's done the same way. Pass to a guy infront of the net, and immediately start pressing shoot. I don't think you get more for a Deathrow shot, nor from shooting from up close.

Damn, I haven't played this in a long time...time to pop it back into the machine...now only if Ubi would make an Xbox Live compatable version

This game is in stock and $14.99 at www.ebgames.com. There was a thread about this great deal a few weeks ago.

Joshic beat me to it. EB, both online and off, have it at $14.99 new. The last I've seen, the used price there is $12.99, but even that might have fallen.
