The One and Only TV SHOWS you can Download Easily Thread
There are certain TV shows which have enough of a cult following, that you can download them quite easily on the internet, whether it's Kazaa or MIRC or whatever
I want to compile a list of all of these shows so dvdtalkers know what's available. Only shows which are fairly easily available, not a show which is available from one website only between the hours of 2am and 3am once a month!
ok i'll get the ball rolling
Alias
Angel
Anna Nicole Smith show
Blackadder
Buffy
Dark Angel
Fawlty Towers
Frasier
Friends
Jackass
Seinfeld
Simpsons
Smallville
Southpark
Star Trek The Next Generation
Star Trek Voyager
Star Trek Enterprise
Will and Grace
X Files
Young Ones
Please give me more to add to the list !

You know, show downloading is very questionable.
One can argue that it is the same as recording it on VCR or TIVOing it. If it's distributing to a lot of folks without exchange of money then it could be argued that it is dealing with the same dynamics as recording on VHS and in it's sense time shifting.. then again one can argue that with digital time shifting they are editing copy righted material by taking away the commercial breaks(ad space) to cut down the size of the file but as a counter to that you can say that Tivo does that aswell. So whats the final verdict?
I believe this thread will be closed as it's still a very hot topic that isn't going to serve any purpose other then to record other people's copyrighted material.
Though I must say I do love Anime Fansubs. Not to mention the ability to view futurama when Fox decides to not show new episodes because of football (amazing that even after the football season, fox comes up with reasons NOT to show it.. )

Spongebob Squarepants, Futurama. Too bad I haven't been able to find WKRP yet, though. But I don't do it-- because it's BAD (in my best Faith-in-Buffy's body practicing in front of the mirror voice).
