Not sure as it's sitting on the shelf until I finish FFX first at least. I already have 44 Hours in FFX.

I did it in a little over 30 hours, if you spend time leveling up or trying to get the ultimate weapon it will take closer to 40.

I finished it in around 18 (it's been a few months). I did a bit of the extra stuff, but not much.

You've barely skimmed the surface. Give it some more time the game gets sooooo much better. Dont gauge this game's level of enjoyment by how many hours you put into it, because theres a lot to do in this game.

I beat it in around 50+ hrs, with doing all the extra stuff including beating Sephiroth(Sp?) which is harder than the whole game itself. I kinda doubt you beat it in 18hrs, but hey thats my opinion.

Currently getting stuck fighting Riku who is possessed by Ansem one on one after the very hard and long fight with the dragon maleficient.
That was a really tough boss battle , i had to switch Goofy for Beast to make the fight easier.

I got a solution....

Make sure your equipping ability key chains like Protega, and such so that your HP, Mp, and defense get a boost. Also you can remove certain abilities if your AP points arent adding up to use special attacks (like Ars Aracanum, and Strike Raid). But do not remove gaurd and roll...youll need those. For the Riku fight II I had my spell shortcuts set like this...

-Aero
-Cura
-Thundara (or depending on what level your thunder spell is at it could vary)

Make sure you have potions and elixirs and dont be afraid to use them. At this point you should be using the Olympia keyblade. Stick and move often this fight isnt real hard but it is tough. Make sure that when Riku flings his sword at you, you can deflect it back at him, usinggaurd and go in for a hard hitting combo. RUN AWAY when he charges up for his magic attack. you can fly away from him until he is done throwing his magical fit.
