Worst Movie Cameos

what are some of the worst movie cameos

two i can think of were Ted Danson in Saving Private Ryan and Robin Williams (voice) in A.I. In both movies Danson's and Williams' appearance seem like a distraction from the story thats going on.

Acutally it seems like only cameos in comedys seem to work. When they're in dramas it more distracting

The only thing popping in my head at the moment is Mr. T In "Not Another Teen Movie". Then again, it's not exactly what I would consider a great movie in the first place.

It was a while ago, but at the end of Finding Forrester, didn't Matt Damon show up? I would submit this as further evidence of the "cameo in drama = distracting" rule.

I've said it before but:

3. Patrick Macnee’s voice in The Avengers (1998) as the invisible records keeper

2. Jay and Silent Bob/Carrie Fisher both in Scream 3

1. Smashmouth in Rat Race

Totally agree, when I saw Ted Danson in SPR, I thought he was going to start serving drinks.

I kinda have to agree with that one. I don't mind Macy Gray, but she seemed really out of place in that film. Not only that, but it's going to date the film worse than anything.

Jet Li in Frequency as the guy delivering Chinese food. Has to be the worst cameo because 99.9% of viewers would not know it was him if they weren't told. He just delivers food and leaves, not even a close up or listing in the credits.

I think that is mostly because THAT ISN'T JET LI!!!!!!!!

It's a guy named Barney Cheng...not Jet Li.

I don't know if you can count Ted Danson in SPR because he is credited in the movie. Is that reallly a cameo?

I agree with Camp. Ted Danson wasn't a cameo...it was an actor playing a role.

No kidding. She was yesterday's news by the time the movie was released to theatres.

Wouldn't ANY singer date the film? Not just Macy Gray. The scene needed a singer so they went with who was popular at the time. The only way to not date the movie is to get a fake or very unknown bank for the part.

Besides, arn't the main actors going to date the movie much more than a person in less then a minute. Toby, Kristen & William are all going to age. Years from now, they will look different. Anybody watching the movie then will be reminded that the movie isn't recent.

As for wierd cameos, I though Beatlejuice in Scary Movie 2 was freaky.
