Harry Potter Gamecube 19.99 Best Buy B&M

Just saw it with a new tag dated 2/10/03. Use the gamer gift card $5 off coupon and get it for 14.99.

Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets?! That would be great because I just got it for my sister and will return the copy to Sams.

It was fun to play through.... Once.... Haven't touched it since, and I probably never will.

This may be YMMV; saw it at another local Best Buy and it was still marked 49.99. The 12-year-olds working the floor in that area checked the system and it showed up as 49.99; one of them asked a manager about verifying the price and the response was a shrug of shoulders and something along the lines of "our prices are correct; the other store must be wrong." Schmucks.

Edit: P.S. -- It's also 49.99 online; maybe the other Best Buy printed out an erroneous shelf tag? I'm not sure how they would do that; I was under the impression that the price tag printing was automated according to corporate pricing updates over their network. Who knows -- it's definitely aggravating, though.

I checked Best Buy and they did have Harry Potter listed for $19.99 but when I took it up to the register it came up as $49.99. So I told them the tag said the $19.99 price and the cashier sent someone to check it out. Of course they clarified the price and gave it to me for $19.99.

Thanks Dah-Dee for the heads up.

You're welcome -- I'm glad it worked out for somebody! I went back to the first Best Buy, where I saw it priced at 19.99, and had the same exact experience. It rang up 49.99, they checked on it, manager said it was 19.99 and just hadn't been updated in the system yet. I used a gamer gift card $5 off coupon and got it for 14.99.
