Best James Bond Film w/Pierce Brosnan
I am in the market to purchase a few of the Bond films, but I really do not want every last one. Additionally, I thought it would be cool to own at least one movie per actor, so, I thought I would start a separate poll for each Bond actor. (Besides, there are over 20 Bond films and a DVDTalk Poll will only allow for 10 entries.) Recommendations appreciated.

Definitely Goldeneye. Great movie. Just pop that puppy in, crank up the 5.1, and let 'er rip. Great opening sequence. Then, a good story that goes all over and back again, but stays somewhat coherent. And lastly, but certainly not least... Xenia Onatopp.

Honestly, I am not a Brosnan fan - though I should be because he is the ideal actor to play Bond. Anyway, I disliked the first three Brosnan flicks. Die Another Day was the only decent one out of the bunch, IMO.

Of Brosnan's four Bond films, Goldeneye easily takes the cake. It has the best cast of almost any Bond film: Sean Bean, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Cumming, Judi Dench and Desmond Llewelyn(of course), Joe Don Baker - and two of the most gorgeous women in the world: Famke Jannsen and Izabella Scorupco. Oh yeah, the opening sequence is also one of the best in the series.

I'd go with a tie between Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies. So I gave my vote to TND because it needed a few. On rewatch I liked TND much better than when I saw it in the theaters. Michelle Yeoh was excellent in her role. I think Brosnan is an excellent Bond. Judi Dench is a great M. I just wish they'd make the Brosnan Bond films with fewer action scenes and more dialogue and spy work.

Goldeneye, great movie, spawned great video game, and brought Bond back into action.
The other Brosnan flicks are alright, but are slowly getting worse and worse IMHO.

Goldeneye by a million light years.
It really got my hopes up because in my opinion it is one of THE BEST Bond films. But the following 3 have been such dogs that I would put them nearly at the bottom along with Octopussy, Diamonds are Forever, and Man W/ the Golden Gun.

Goldeneye is by far the best Brosnan Bond film. All the others were just overdone action/stunt/special-effect splurges. Oh, and as Joey said, it led to one of my favorite Playstation/N64-era games.

in my opinion, brosnan is the worst bond of them all.
in hindsight, twenty years down the road, people will realize the mediocrity of brosnan's bond films. i like brosnan as an actor, but these films haven't given him the best showcase for his bondness.
that being said, tomorrow never dies is the best of the bunch, IMO.

I like Brosnan as Bond but his movies haven't been great, and they appear to be getting worse. They need to find a better director and writer if they want to make good movies-- which isn't likely since they are making money.
Goldeneye is the best Brosnan Bond, it has good stunts and ridiculous minatures, like all good Bonds, and Sean Bean's character kicks ass.
