Hi, I'm new to International DVD (getting a player today, hopefully) and I would like to get the Baby Cart series from the UK. I was wondering if anyone could provide some information on them in terms of quality, extras (if any) and maybe some recommendation on where to get them. The research I did with my own very limited knowledge (gained off this site!) tells me Bensonworld is cheapest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wait for the Animego US Releases, which should start coming out this Spring. They are supposedly restored etc..

I had the whole UK Set at one time, but was disappointed at the video/audio quality..

So, wait a bit longer is what I recommend

The first DVD release is supposed to come out 4/30 according to Animego's website.

HOWEVER, they constantly push the release date back.. First it was supposed to be early 02, then late 02, now Spring 03... Still, they will be worth waiting for and don't be surprised if it gets pushed backed even further.

It feels like forever since Animego announced these! They've been pushed back for so long, I was going to cave in and order the UK versions myself. I'll wait it out I guess.

Yes, anyhow... at least two of the discs are cut in the UK by the BBFC for violence towards women etc... So, that might help people on the fence wait for the Animego releases.
