Which system are you getting Soul Caliber 2 on?

Here's screenshots from each system:

PS2

Xbox

GCN

The Gamecube version will allow you to play as Link from the Zelda series and will graphically be a port of the PS2 version.

The PS2 version will allow you to play as a special character, but I don't recall who it is... nobody I recognized.

The Xbox version will allow you to play as Spawn and will be in 720p for those with Hi-Def TV sets.

All 3 versions will have outstanding graphics and their own unique special character. Other differences might be sound related. I think it's cool that Namco went to the trouble to make it special for each system.

Here's a previous thread with screenshots for reference.

PS2 comes with Heihachi of the Tekken series.

I personally haven't decided which system I'm buying for.

yeah, I thought it was something like that but I didn't want to even try to guess his name or what exact game he's from. :/

Is this him?

none of the special characters do much for me, but if I had to pick based on that alone - I'd pick Spawn. The main thing for me is which of these pics features no jaggies?

Is link a female or a male character?

That camel toe is nasty!

Good thing is that I'm getting an Xbox Version. (spawn)

XBox... Might buy the Cube version when the price drops or a special price when released.

GameCube as that is what I currently have. Although if I pick up an X-Box (next price drop, deal, etc) that would be the preferred version.

Xbox - not because of the graphics, but because Spawn kicks ass. I think it's very lame that they put Heihachi on the PS2 version. I won't need to buy it for the GC, since that is what all my friends will buy, considering they're all Link freaks.....

Link Is by far the coolest of those characters, but the Xbox's visuals are just too good, and Spawn isn't a bad thing...

If all of the games play the same (as in physics, button delay, etc.) then ill get the xbox version.. but if the ps2 version has better gameplay, ill prolly get the ps2 version.

as for the gamecube, the only reason i am pretty certain ill not get that version, is because of the controller (its a great controller, and i love the wavebird). I just don't see it as a good controller for fighting games. I'm sure I could get used to it, but I just prefer the xbox and the ps2 controllers for these types of games.

Trigger, I think your PS2 link above is incorrect. It should be http://ruliweb.intizen.com/data/ruli...2&find=&ftext=

you're right - sheesh - I thought I fixed that cuz I caught it in the other thread. :/ Anyway - it's fixed now.

It was pretty tight between Xbox and GCN versions for awhile - almost dead even... I'm surprised to see Xbox pull so far ahead. We'll see what the evening crowd has to say about it.
