...ahm... nothing against Norwegian comedy films... BUT... truthfully now: how much interest would there be - worldwide - for a Norwegian comedy film...?...

...otoh... I found this fairly glowing review of the film - which was even up for a 'best foreign movie' Oscar, last year... just goes to show: whaddahell do I know?!

...and btw: the Danish DVD-Basen site only has the one ('Scandinavian') DVD listed (which has optional Finnish, Danish, Swedish, and English subtitles)... this Swedish review of that disc calls the movie a "Norwegian Rain Man"...

...and so it goes...

. . . . . .

...offhand, I can think of only one: "Insomnia" (the CC version) - and that was a Norwegian-Swedish co-production...

Probably about the same interest as a Danish horror TV miniseries. Who would want to watch one of those?

The US release has only a trailer I believe but the film itself is very funny with great performances by the leads.

I dont think the US release is even widescreen, while the Universal release at dvddoo looks to be so.
