Thanks, I read the reviews.
It seems a shame that they would give a classic such short shrift.
A true story, great visuals, rousing soundtrack & they give it the bargain bin treatment. It does make you wonder when you see so many inferior movies getting better treatment.

WaD, I've been meaning to get Roan's R1 version, but I just haven't got 'round to it yet. Savant says it's "only marginally acceptable" but then says it's "Far better than earlier budget releases", since it is letterboxed - however, he doesn't like the color saturation (or lack thereof, rather). Anyway, the review is here. From what I've seen of Roan discs so far (and I've got 99% of them) I've never been disappointed yet, so, for me, this is a no brainer. I just gotta get off my duff and actually get one.
