GTA:Vice City soundtrack fans, help me out ...
I really like the radio stations in the game. I know there is a box set of CDs, but I don't want it because -
1) they left out too many songs I like
2) they left out some hysterically funny commercials
3) there is no CD with VCHAT or VCPR's "Pressing Issues with Maurice Chavez"
I would like to record an entire loop of each station I like onto a CD. Since the stations are not one large file each on the game disc, I will need to record each station as it plays in the game then burn it to a CD.
My plan is this :
1) connect my PS2 to my HiFi stereo VCR
2) pick a spot in each station's loop to begin the recording (I already have the running order of every song, commercial & intro printed out)
3) find a way to copy the tape onto a PC. I'm not real familiar with this part.
4) have the PC convert the file to .cda (I think) and burn it to a CD
I need to find out if the running time for the stations is longer than ~70 or so.If I can't get them to fit I may have to resort to audio tape
Am I forgetting anything ? Anyone have easier way ? Mind you, I don't have a PC at home (I post from work
) and would need to use a friend's PC to do this, and they've never even copied a CD before, much less converted from analog to digital, then burned an image to a CD in standard CD audio format.
Thanks in advance
