Wow, you know, I really got a kick out of those little "Lets keep the volume Super Low so they higher the volume and then BAM! let someone scream into the screen" gif's and movies. Then everyone was doing them and it got old. Maybe this movie should have done this back then when it was original and not when it's an old gimmick.

In any case, look to the "Rate my home theater room" and "Can you see the ghost in the room" threads.

Just so you know, not everyone has hung around this message board for the last 15 years. It may be a new thing to some people. I had never seen another thing like it before, so that is why I posted this. Who cares if its been done. It still made me jump.

Unless you created yourself, you shouldn't be all sour about someone not enjoying it or for that matter, it being predictable.

a bit back it was a pretty big sort of Mass mailer or just junk mail picture that used the same tech. to make you jump while it played low music. So it's pretty obvious what was going to happen in this.

How am I being sour? If I had said what you said in any other thread I would have been accused of doing a thread crap. Like I said, I had never seen it before, that's why I posted it here. If someone doesn't enjoy it, good for them. I could care less. But it isn't your job to pick out all things that are "old" and try to squeeze the fun out of them for others.

It's been done before, and for the life of me I can't figure out why these people are using it to promote their website. It's sort of like making an "All Your Base" movie trailer.

Now, knowing it's soft music, and the fact that you cued us in "This will make you jump!" "Turn on your speakers!" etc. also let me know what kind of animation this was going to be.

Otherwise, pretty cool.

I agree that the women singing and the anticipation was scariralthough it did make me jump.

Imagine if they did this in a packed theater, keping it at the same proportion and everything (not even taking up a fifth of the screen). You'd have people concentrating and then BAM!

Lead that into a proper teaser trailer... previews gold.
