Here's some Versus info:

http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/compari...e.php?fid=2567

According to this place, you gotcher German version with German subtitles, your French version with French subtitles and your Japanese version with English subtitles.

I checked some sites here in Europe, specialized in
unrated movies.
But I'm afraid that the only version with engl. subs
is indeed the jap. one.
Too bad as there will be a nice Tin Ed. out in march for
the german-languaged market (Ger., Austria, Switz.)
only with german subs.
Sorry!

I found it at YesAsia.com. It costs more than cdjapan but after shipping costs its actually cheaper at YesAsia.

Edit: Nevermind, I was looking at the wrong chart. Its cheaper at CDJapan.

I bought mine on ebay for $20 all region. Probably a bootleg but the quality was pretty good. I was kinda dissapointed in the movie though. Sure it had lots of action but the movie felt very empty.

Can someone tell me what this movie is about? Is it worth the price?
I am very interested, but I am not too sure if I want to pay 50 bucks for something I am not too sure about.

For the price, Wild Zero is better... but Versus is cool - it's a zombie/kung-fu movie. There's plenty of things that suck about this flick, but there's enough visceral carnage and cool/funny zombie camp in it to make it worthwhile. You really have to be into cheesey Zombie flicks to like it. I'd rank it somewhere between Wild Zero and Junk.

According to the Media Blasters website, they've acquired Versus for US release on their Tokyo Shock label.

Might as well wait until a US release - the Japanese DVD is nice, but unless you like spending 40-50 bucks on one DVD, the movie itself isn't really worth it. It's certainly worth picking up at 15-20 bucks when it comes to the US... if you're into low- budget zombie/yakuza/samurai/kung-fu/flying/bullet opera movies that are pure cheeseball comedy gold that is. It's just that, but expect to be bored off your arse at times because this movie tends to drag in places.

If it won't keep you up at night grab the $12 boot on Ebay. The flick definitely has some entertainment value (cool gore, so bad it's good acting, etc.) but it's not worth tossing away $50 on.....

Thats OK I've decided to wait for the Media Blasters release.

PS. (to all) I've already seen it so I know I want it. This was just a matter of which one.

From the looks of the trailer it appears that he has a much bigger budget this time....
