Was trying to buy the new Wallace and Gromit- crackling contraptions R2 DVD.. only place that seems to be selling this is CDwow... When ordering, it says "note: this disc is not available to customers in USA and Japan"..

Huh? This is not the same as talking about region codes- they sell R3 stuff without this warning...

what is going on???

I think it may be a copyright issue with just that disc.

It's available on some other international W&G site though -maybe someone will have the URL.

Just checked out the W&G web site.. they have the SAME disclaimer..

we can only hope this means the dvd will have a region 1 version soon!

Great company incidentally!!..their catalogue isn't the best as a lot of titles they just don't seem to stock..however the prices are good and shipping times are usually only a couple of days to the UK and quite unbelievably they ship the items via Hong Kong!!

I don't want to be inundated with requests but as i'm going to be ordering from them at the end of January when i've been paid i would be willing to order you a copy Cinemaman and provided you re-imbursed my postal costs could ship it to you if you were that desperate to get a copy?

just got a note from CD Wow. Claimed the warning was in error. They have removed it and will ship to the USA!
