Anyone seen the Image DVD of this film?
Having seen the DVD of this film, would anyone care to comment on it?
Is it good? Is it bad?
Does it defy description, like a lonely letter stuffed under an old lady's mattress?
Or is beyond description, a superlative rendering of the universal human condition, encompassing the need for love, the need for food, and the need for Jergens hand lotion, all in one compact yet epic film?
What I'm asking is, basically, has anyone seen it, and is it worth getting?

a/v quality is very good.
haven't actually watched the film yet, but from the scattered scenes i've...seen, i'm pretty certain its a lot of pretentious, wistful reflection, puntucated by Sophie Marceaus best nude scene.
however, i could be totally off base and it may be one of the most deeply affecting and understated films ever made.
i'm in no real hurry to watch it though.
