People's Choice Awards. Is anyone watching?

At first I thought this was the Golden Globes [shows you how much I pay attention to this self-serving sh*t].

But then Tony Danza came out and starting playing the trumpet...

Nope I heard it was on, but really had no interest in it. But Tony Danza and a trumpet sounds like a hoot

I was watching L&O CI, but flipped and saw the cast of CSI win and then the cast of Survivor. Helen still looked pissed

I flipped to it accidentally around 9:30, and catch the last 4 awards...

Sean Astin's daughter getting impatient on camera was

and I'm confused, did Julia accept her award or did they just show reruns the whole time?

No...it's utterly pointless. It makes the Grammys look like the most important televison event of all time.

Glad Halle Berry didn't get anything. You know she would have open the People Choice Award gates for all black actress.

I sure as hell didn't vote. But I wouldn't count since I don't watch or listen to any of the crap around today.

The show's usually boring the few times I've seen it. I didn't watch this year.

Gallup phone polls 1200 people. I was not one of them.

1200 people? Oh yeah that's an accurate representation. Telemarketers call more friggin' people

So basically, the "people" are those who are lonely/idle enough to take a phone survey. Great. That's a real representative sample.

Just saw Tony Danza rapping as a sat slack-jawed in front of my TV. If that wasn't the worst thing on TV, I shudder at the thought of what is. Of course the award is completely meaningless. I worder if Julia Roberts uses them as doorstops or something.

I was actually contemplating watching this, until I saw him as "Italian Ice".

I cut the tv off and read my Calculus book. Although we don't have a test for two more weeks, I was that desperate to rid my mind of that crap.

Although my roommate did turn the tv on and I saw Ray Ramano win...which was cool.
