Simpsons 1/12
Shaping up to be a good episode. It's new right?
Lisa: "Dad, I'm a vegetarian!"
Homer: "Well you're not gonna like your other present then"
*Camera moves to a wrapped chicken
forgive me if it's an old episode

Am I the only one who got about 7 minutes of an old episode (Homer's web site), and then when the commercial should have appeared, it instead cut to tonight's new episode, already in progress? I'm assuming it was just the local DC FOX station that screwed this one up good.
Every week it seems like some other local station is having problems and forcing me to turn to the Internet to download VCDs of TV shows that I want to watch. I've pretty much given up on UPN already and their constant dropout problems, and now download Buffy ahead of time instead of trying to watch it on cable. Fox has been pretty good, but so much for watching the Simpsons tonight.
So for everyone who doesn't live in DC, how was it?

It's still running now, and I don't know if it's because I'm in a good mood or not but this is one of the best episodes I've seen in a long time!

edit: Anyone know what the couch gag was? My local FOX station was having some technical difficulties.

It seems for every episode that DVDTalkers like, I dislike. And vice versa.
Hmm...

I thought it was good.
The Flanders video killed me. Flanders naming diabetes as one of Rod's hobbies was funny.
Homer falling asleep and naming Maggie as Lisa's best friend was funny also.
"Stupid Flanders, your a genius."

"It's one word: chunkylover53"
The Peta protest was funny, too. I think the best part of the episode was Homer with the black make-up, painting emotions on his face. That was funny.
Overall, it was an okay episode. The usual whininess that comes from a Lisa-centered episode wasn't as strong as usual, so it was ok.
They did another credits segment this week. Is this new? I hadn't noticed it until last week, but they aren't that great. Beats watching a promo for "Joe Millionaire" or whatever.

Pretty funny episode. I like the parodies, I think tons of simpsons parody movies and tv but maybe they have become more frequent. I liked the ending with Cletus.
