Poor, poor Corey. Not much of a film legacy. IMHO, I've always thought "The Goonies" was crap, even when I first saw it as a kid. There are many better 'coming of age adventure' movies out there than that one with its lousy effects and annoying characters. But wait long enough and everything becomes a classic to someone, I guess...

Feldman's doing better than that lead kid, the one with asthma. What ever happened to him?

The Goonies is better than Willy Wonka in my opinion - I have probably watdhed it more than any other film in my life. But I can see it is not for everyone, especially if someone is from a different generation. I don't care if some of it is cheesy and some of the characters are annoying to people - it is a classic. I am sorry you feel that way Sierra Disc.

Corey Feldman is an annoying dumbass - he almost ruined the Goonies cast commentary on the DVD for me. I would like to see Vince Neil put a bullet in his head on the Surreal Life, but we know that won't happen - oh well, he just further proves how stupid and messed up he is.

Whelp...to each his own.

I like both. WW a lil bit more than Goonies, but they both have major replay value IMO.

Sean Astin was in Lord of the Rings as well as Rudy. He's had a respectable career since Goonies.

I always thought Goonies was really bad. No where as fun as say Gremlins around that time. I was bored.
It doesnt come close to Willy Wonka.
Josh Brolin ifrom Goonies s doing TV again. His new premiered last Friday.
didnt they all get together for a commentary. I think thats cool but the movie wasnt good enough so...

That was him in Dish Dogs? He plays one of the most annoying and unbearable characters of all time in that, who keeps spouting amazingly pretentious rubbish about why he shouldn't sleep with Shannon Elizabeth.

And yet I still treasure that dvd so. It's awesome once you turn the sound off.

I don't think Corey Feldman came up with those thoughts on his own. The move does have a very large cult following and huge fans. I'm sure these fans have pretty much gave him this idea . . . and I'm sure these fans would agree with his statement.

All the Goonies really needs is a little Gene Wilder w/ a trippy dialogue on the boat sequence.
