Need help in broadening my DeNiro collection.
Currently I have the following Robert DeNiro movies on DVD:
Heat
Jackie Brown
Cape Fear
Godfather II
Meet the Parents
Ronin
The Score
Taxi Driver
King of Comedy
What I need are suggestions on DeNiro movies that I haven't seen. BTW I am holding off on SEs of Raging Bull and Goodfellas.
Here is the list of most of his movies on DVD that I haven't seen (some of these will be released in the upcoming months):
Bang the Drum Slowly
City By the Sea
Showtime
Angel Heart
Cop Land
Falling in Love
Flawless
Great Expectations
Guilt by Suspicion
Mad Dog and Glory
Mean Streets
Men of Honor
Midnight Run
Mistress
Once Upon a Time in America
So are any of these must haves? I'm not interested in extras as much as the movie itself.

Once Upon A Time In America is a fantastic movie, but I don't think it's had an official DVD release in R1, last I checked.
Mean Streets is another excellent film, but it will be re-released with Goodfellas.

The only one on your list that I've seen is Angel Heart, and I loved it.
And I liked Rocky and Bullwinkle!
See my post in the "guilty pleasures" thread.

Again, anything not on the list, I have either seen (Brazil, A Bronx tale), or I have little or no interest in (Rocky and Bullwinkle).

Of the ones you haven't seen, I'd give a hearty recommendation for Midnight Run, which is a fantastic action/comedy.
The others are hit and miss...probably better off renting those that are more expensive (above $19.99 SRP). Mean Streets is pretty good. Men of Honor is worth a rental. Not a big fan of Once Upon a Time in America, but a lot of people like it.

Men of Honor and Midnight Run are both very good.
CopLand is a decent movie, and can be had for pretty cheap as well
I'm in the minority here, but I also thought Showtime was good as well. I liked it a lot better the 2nd time I watched it.

I would rent Men of Honor first. I'm a fan of military movies, especially movies about military training, but this one didn't grab me.
