BLACK MASK [UNCUT TAIWAN VERSION] OK what is different!
OK I am now very curious about this but before I drop $30.00 I must know if the movie is remarkably better because of this or about the same. What is this "extra" footage that I am being baited with?? If it makes the movie completely different AND better, like Drive SE Directors Cut, well then it is a must purchase!
Thanks for any info, I will add that I did rather enjoy Black Mask...

IMDB info on alternatve versions (vague)
http://us.imdb.com/AlternateVersions?0115693
Details on the DVD here:

Note that while the US DVD cut 10 minutes from the film and re-edited scenes a bit, it is uncut in regards to the violence as far as I can tell.

Doesn't make the movie any better really, unless you are an absolute gore hound or completionist. Apart from the opening sequence it's just a few shots altered here and there to cover various bloody effects. IMHO not worth spending 30 bucks on. I passed my disc over on ebay some time ago and kept Thakral's version, which at least had removable subs. I believe I had picked up the Ritek pressing of Black Mask for about 7.99 CDN back then Needless to say prices have increased since then with the limited availaility!
