This is shaping up to be a steller second year for the CUBE. What are you all looking forward too? In no particular order, here is my list:

4) Mario Kart
5) Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

There are others I am curious about, like Dead Phoenix, Viewtiful Joe , 1080: Avalanche and Star Fox Armada, damn... its going to be a good year. How's your list look?

I don't know, I haven't played any games from 2003 yet to make a valid decision.
I am looking forward to Zelda and Mario Kart.

I seriously doubt that a lot of the Nintendo brand games mentioned earlier will actually come out this year.
I'm sure Zelda, Wario, 1080, and F-Zero will come out... but if we haven't actually seen screen shots yet for the other ones, then I'd guess we won't see them til 2004 or so.
Cuz we should all know by now that Nintendo games always get pushed back.
I'm really just looking forward for Soul Calibur 2, Zelda, Wario, Starcraft: Ghost, and F-Zero.
I may end up just getting SC2 on the PS2 though since the PS2 controller is so much easier to use on fighting games.

For the 12 minutes that it lasts.
They should just make GC Radiant Silvergun and bring that to the States.

12 minutes? You must not be that very good at it then . Why take a step down in gameplay and graphics by porting Radiant? By doing that your robbing gamers of experiencing one of the best shooters on the market.

And.. Ikargua would be a great buy at $20 or $30. But it really is too short to spend any more on it. Yes, it's probably the most intense shooter ever, but it's arcade origins stick out bad. They did a very good job on RS on making it a little more console friendly, you'll have to agree there.
That reminds me.. I never did accomplish my goal of beating RS without dying.. time to haul out the Saturn. Thanks a lot guys, like I don't have enough crap to play already.

First of all.. they could update the graphics. Second, I don't think Ikaruga -> RS is a step down in gameplay at all. A side step, maybe. But not down. Then they could also have a 3 player mode like the arcade machine (the yellow ship you always see appear during cut scenes).

An exaggeration indeed. However, it does not take long to get to the end. Now, MASTERING the game.. racking up huge MFing combos and points, not dying, etc.. that will take some time. But thanks to Sony, 90% of the gaming population cares not about the skill involved in playing a game, they just want to see the ending. People who enjoy the taste of a good shooter, will take this in like fine wine, and become obsessed with maknig billions of points. But our numbers are few and weakening. Average Joe Final Fantasy will just shoot, die, shoot, die, continue, repeat, beat the game, and forget it ever exsisted.

I remember when shooters owned tha market,..now they have been reduced to GBA ports and Imports. Which isnt bad, but I honestly hope that Ikaruga makes it state-side. Hell why not port over Syn & Punishment?
