Tremors: TV Series

When does this Sci-Fi TV Series begin?

I think it's sometime in January 2003, but I'm not too sure

Tremors: TV Series, When?

Tremors: TV Series, Why?

OK. It’s a , but somebody had to say it.

I wonder, will they try to do it serious, or go for the laughs? Or will they try to be serious and end up getting laughs?

I think they should go for broke and schedule it opposite Enterprise.

Dammit Mallory, shut up already. Fighting giant worms has made me tired.

It's pretty much tongue in cheek now.
Its not grand filmmaking on any scale, but Tremors 3 is a guilty pleasure of mine and hopefully they can carry over that same tone.

I’m surprised, with all the anti-SciFi sentiment pervading the forum these days, that there are even any folks with the cohones to post a thread about this show, much less admit to looking forward to it.

Guilty pleasure? Those would be my words exactly. With the added benefit of the groans from my wife when the movies play and I just have to watch. Hehe!

It was posted on Fangoria.com about 2 weeks back. They said that the people on the show said they needed to "work on the special effects more". In other words, the want to re-tool the show.

Tremors: The TV Series - any word yet?

This is jumping into Stargate's slot on Fridays. Has there been any advance word on it? I'm a fan of the three films, and am happy to see Michael Gross as Bert back in the hunt.

Matt Rousch, TV Guide's TV critic had some unflattering words about it in his on-line column.

Watched most of it. It was pretty bad and not in an good way like the way the movies were so bad they were good.

The second episode didn't even have Graboids in it. Guess they already ran out of Graboid plot ideas.

Well if all they had planned were graboids it would get to be a boring series. I hope it at least makes it through a season. The second episode looked like something that would be on The Chronicle.

I stopped believing in him when he gave good marks to the Music Man remake.

Although, in truth, is there anyone watching this who is really proud of doing so. Would you tell your friends, “Hey, I watched Tremors last night!”? How many have lurked in here, but haven't got the balls to post because they don't want to admit watching? Hmmm?

I’ll have to take a look at this when I have more time, as I wasn’t paying much attention. But one thing caught my attention: am I the only one who believes a “two-hour premier” should be a two-hour show, not two episodes?

I guess it’s The American Way to see just how far you can bend the truth.

Are there even supposed to be more Graboids or is it just "El Blanco" that is still alive?

They all know I'm reading these threads and don't want to get put on The List .

Fastlane had the worst example of this I can remember. When the John Doe ep got pulled after the Shuttle crash, FOX advertizes some kick-ass special 2-hour episode. Of course, it was just a regular episode and then they aired a repeat in the 2nd hour's spot. Truly pathetic.

Dude, everyone gets a few wrong, but anyone who can see the genuis in genre shows isn't someone to dismiss for a few wrong calls.

Anywho, I didn't watch, but I know my younger brother loved it. He's a huge fan of the movies and loved the TV show....I had to leave the room because Sci-Fi is dead to me.

Come on ... throw a little "you're dead to me" at your brother just for fun.
