Interesting Halo video
Just found this one on kazaa so I can't really link to it, but if you use the name Linkin Park - In The End [Halo] you may be able to find it.
Obviously I wasn't expecting too much from the name, but watching it I was pretty surprised -- there seems to be a LOT of cutscene footage that wasn't in the game at all (and possible game footage too). I'm not sure if it was cut from the first game when the direction changed and leaked, or if it was leaked from Halo 2, or if someone's just messing around with a dev kit or something. Footage clips like Masterchief impaling a gold elite on a plasma sword, marines taking out a plasma tank with a jeep mounted rocket launcher, and a number of other shots. The other strange thing is that in some shots of normal halo footage -- silent cartographer combat -- the ammo counter on the screen is all numeric, not with the rack of bullets -- perhaps an early game build. Either way its pretty neat.
I may be able to IM it to somebody tomorrow who can host it. All I can say is, color me interested.

edit, just got a reply from halo.bungie.org -- they think its probably just from the E3 2000 trailer -- can't believe I never saw it before. I thought I had seen every trailer. Worth checking out if you haven't seen it yet.
