Looking for best price on DVD

I don't really want to get a used DVD, but I will if someone trusts the place enough. I'm looking for the DVD Pulp Fiction. I've done the price search here at DVDTalk but I was wondering if anyone knows where else to look? I notice I can get a used one for around $13 from half.com, but I have never used them before. Anyway have experience with half.com?

Never heard of the DVD exchange forum. I'll go take a look.

And I wanted to go through half.com, but then saw it was a part of ebay. Never bought anything from there before, and I've read a few horror stories about ebay. Does half.com work the same way?

I do go through djangos.com, they are usually fairly cheap. And you can buy a used DVD or CD and it will come shrink-wrapped, like new. Does half.com do this?

Do you have an aversion to Columbia House for some reason?

Off topic here, sorry. But I am really curious how a Senior Member with almost 600 posts has never heard of the Bargains Forum or Half.com. On top of that, nor even knows where to look for the cheapest prices for DVDs?

Where do you spend all your time posting?

to answer your question: I have personally had bad experiences with people inaccurately representing their discs at half.com. I would be wary of buying anything as a gift there.

I use half.com a lot and bought two cds as presents this year. Two tips. Read the description carefully. For gifts, I always make sure that they say it is new and sealed. And also look at their feedback, what the other customers are saying about them. You can do that by clicking on the number in parentheses after their seller name. That will tell you how many positive responses they've had and how many negative experiences people have had with that seller.

By the way, if you are still debating about buying from Half.com at this point, its probably too late unless you get upgraded shipping. It takes a pretty long time usually to get stuff from Half. But if its for you, then your fine!

The only problem with buying from half.com is that you're buying from the general public. I'm sure most people are honest, and will accurately and quickly get your order to you as stated, but then there's that other percentage who are just out to scam you.
I've sold quite a bit of stuff there, but have only bought 2 things. One was perfect, the other was damaged.
If you want to give it a shot, take a good look at their feedback.
