Geoff suggested this site in a thread over in Feedback. But when i asked for comments abotu the site i didn't get a reply. I thought the question would be better served over here.

Does anyone have any experiences with this place? I get frequent errors when trying to check out, and for some reason i have trouble trusting a site with my credit card if they have a counter ( a free counter from TheCounter.com no less) at the bottom of their page.

Also, does anyone know where i can get a cheap magazine subscription? Freebizmag isn't offering any titles i'm after.. I remember all the deals from around a year ago where you could get most titles for 3.95... But i remember the sites looking more legit.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I've used bestdealmagazines before with no problems. It takes a month or longer for the subscriptions to start, but I think that is the norm for all places. When the subscription expired, I wasn't automatically billed to continue the subscription. Overall, I was happy with them.

Did you notice a huge increase in Junk Mail? (not e-mail, real-mail)

I have ordered around 10 subscriptions from them and they are OK. As mentioned it takes quite a while for the subscriptions to start. They sometime offer a free book or something else free with your order. I have never received any of those, though I had selected them in my orders. But I really don't care and haven't bothered to follow up.

I did not notice any change in the volume of junk mail.

I have also used magazinedealsonline.com and haven't had any problems with them either.

I get like 1 email per week from them for the 5 or so mags I subscribed to. So far happy with the little I paid for the subscriptions
