I saw this episode a little earlier tonight, and I really enjoyed it. It was like a whodunit up to the end, where we find out who did it (or who tried to do it):

You guys must be joking, this episode is a significant improvment over the last Sideshow Bob episode. Although I could've done without the excessive shock gags.

Not very good IMO. I fell asleep during the middle of it. Grimes was one of my favorite one time only characters so this should have been better. Homer's remarks at the end were funny and so was Grimes tombstone.

Since the past few years have not been the same as it's earlier run, I was actually suprised to see this episode making me laugh as hard as in the past. (well, at least the first half)
The part when Moe was looking at the photos of him and the pickled egg jar...Classic Simpsons writing. But, unfortunately, it went downhill from there...LITERALLY in the case of Homer on the float

I thought this was a very funny episode, especially compared to others this season. I predicted it would be somone from the Frank Grimes family... I bet my wife and won $10.

Sigh - the show just keeps on getting worse and worse. It's like watching your randy uncle Fred waste away or something. The guy was funny as hell 10 years ago, but it's been time to pull the plug for a while. You just cant let go.
I'll continue to hang around, but it looks like I might have my sundays free in the near future.

I enjoyed seeing Frank Grimes again, I knew it was him or his son. However, I felt Sideshow Bob wasn't really used that much. I was a little dissapointed how he was kinda 'goofy'. Thats NOT SideShow Bob! Bob and Grimes are one of my two favorite characters, and it wa sgreat to see them once again.
Also, the song at the end, WTF? It went on waaaaay to long.

I'm sure a lot of you will "Still hang around" just to complain week in and week out.
You folks do have an option of changing the channel instead of just complaining about it.

I agree, Jackskeleton. No reason to suffer through a show you don't like anymore. Plenty of other programming out there.
I thought it was a GREAT Simpsons. Lots of obscure references and hidden jokes. I'm going to watch it again later just to see if I caught all the subtle elements and background items.
