Gameboy Advance for $30
I dont know if this has been posted and I waited and TRIED to search (cant search for "GBA") so here it is.
at EB games they have a $10 off special when you buy a GBA and a game (might require the Gold pokemon GBA). $49.99
then theres a $20 mail in rebate (in the form of a gift cert.)
Voila! One GBA for $29.99

That deal makes me want to pull the trigger and get another one, instead of waiting till next year (Since my GBA has a broken LCD screen).......
Damn, I got to much shopping left to think about my own needs.

Heres the coupon in the coupon book (sorry about the moire).
The other coupon ($10 instant savings at register when you buy Pokemon Gold GBA + 1 game) I think was a 1 sheet photocopy or just something the cashier knew about and took it off without needing a piece of paper.

As much as I want one of the GBA's, I'm not sure that I want the pokemon version. Does it actually have the pokemon characters on it or is it just gold. I could have sworn that the one in the store didn't have all the pokemon stuff printed on it, but I also only looked at it for a second.
If it does have the pokemon stuff on it, is there anyway to get rid of it or do I just have to suck it up?

The face is flat gold color with a faint white POKEMON! logo in the corner thats really hard to see. AND theres 2 small gold shillouttes of some pokemon characters in the corners of the glass (NOT over the screen but outside that).
I didnt want to buy it either but they do sell faceplates for $2.99 that would probabally cover it. If the faceplate dosnt cover the corners of the glass then any sticker could cover it i suppose.

Not to go off-topic here, but I just bought a GBA and Zelda, and boy is the screen dark! I can barely see anything. I'm beginning to wonder how anyone plays the GBA without optimal lighting. Yes I know about the afterburner, but I don't have time to get it installed before my trip abroad.

I coudnt stand how dark it was so i got a "floodlight" and its perfect--no glare cuz its a flourescant lite.
The "Halo" light is supposed to be as good as the afterburner and less risky to install because they give you a tool to help install it--BUT its around $40!

I got the Gold GBA for $59.99, it had a $10 instant rebate if i bought a game with it (i got advance wars). So it came out to $49.99 (but my game was full price)
I just mailed in the $20 rebate form, the EB guy said it should work just fine.
Basically i got the $59 system with $30 worth of rebates
PS-- The Pokemon Gold edition GBA is not PICTURED in the coupon but it *IS* listed in the small print. I made sure!

The store I went to didn't have the10$ off instant if you buy a GBA + game. Is that listed somewhere I can point my credit card to if I want to dispute the charge? Thanks for the heads up on this deal Save Ferris!

Yup I got the gold edition Pokemon GBA, and no $10 instant off when I got the game. I guess it's a limited offer by area or store or something. Anyways, 39 is still a great deal. Thanks.
