24: Season 2 - Hour 7 - 12/10/02

Welcome the Hour 7 of this season's 24, the most compelling hour on TV!

At the end of last week's episode of 24:

Kim and Miguel have taken Megan in Megan's dad's car while trying to get out of LA.

Jack's escorting Nina to some place via plane to get to some other guy who might have knowlege of the nukes.

Tony's interviewing Bob about payments he authorized to a known terrorist.

Marie's still wanting to get married to Reza, who's got now freaked out parents on his hands.

Kate's freaked out about her father's possible involvement with terrorists.

Mason coughing up a lung by now, Michelle will probably know that Mason isn't "right".

Palmer has no one he thinks he can trust, and will probably end up trusting the wrong people. Having Lady McPalmer in the house can't be helping his mental state of mind.

Lynn is keeping a low profile. Rayburn's replacement was too easily duped.

Are these threads getting earlier or is it just me? I think it is a competion to see who can start the thread first.

Spoiler:
It looks like we find out what is in the trunk tonight at least from the commercials I have seen. Please let the officer kill Kim and the little girl as the try to escape I don't care if they let Judo Joe go as he has not gotten anywhere near my nerves as the other two.

I hope this show gets going again this week after a lackluster one last week. Bring on Nina and Jack!!!!!

Obviously in the trunk is
Spoiler:
the dead mother, since the wife-beater only reserved 2 tickets to Mexico
.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go start the thread for hour 8 (12/17/02).

I still think Mason will last long enough to kill Nina.

Lady McPalmer is baaaaaaaaaad news. I can't wait to find out what she's really up to, and who is in on it with her.

I hope the radiation turns Mason into the Incredible Hulk.

C'mon, it happens to superheros - look at Daredevil...

Here's a cool concept for next season: A 24 hour show that takes place over the course of one hour...

How is that possible? Unless you show the same hour from the perspective of 24 different characters . . . but that would get boring.

I just saw last week's episode last night, so I am ready for tonight's episode. I like the Lady Palmer tag. Her character all but drove me to talking to the TV last season. She definitely won't be helping much! She makes him too emotional.

45 minutes and still no sign of Kim

But does this mean we're going to have one whole ep with just her & Bruce?

And I agree teddydogg, but Iwhere? has 'em all beat...s/he started a thread for Smallville's season finale.

Patman,

I like the way you summarized last week's episode, nice job.

As for this week's episode, I am highly anticipating what will happen with the father, but we saw that coming a mile away.

Please, no Kim this week -

I wonder how Kim and Miguel are going to get out of that jam. They probably shouldn't have taken the wife-beater's car in the first place.

Not bad; don't really have much to say about this episode though. Just kind of what I expected.

Glad Kim's storyline didn't get much screen time.

The Mason/son storyline seems like a bit of a throw-away storyline, which is something that i didn't really expect from an otherwise fast-paced storyline. Kind of a waste, tho it does beef up Mason's character i suppose.

Enjoyed the ep, but for my tastes they seem to have lost a bit of momentum.

she is the weak link in the series isn't she....still its FOX and they have got to throw a large breasted blonde in there somewhere....so is it me, or is President David Palmer not the brightest guy in the world?......the main plot with Jack & CTU works for me....the whole stuff w/the President leaves me a little cold....it just doesn't seem like there is a sense of urgency there....the family stuff wasn't quite as annoying this week and as noted the stuff with Kim just does not seem to add much to the show except let's put a cute girl in a lot of bad situations.....still, its kind of addictive....

BTW, anybody else see a Warner-wifebeater connection? It'd make sense; they're the only 2 white bad guys involved.

Someone said that Gary said in one of the first episodes he was going to a wedding later in the day. If this is true maybe they are working together. Anyone that Tivo'ed the first few episodes able to confirm that???

Good ep.

Looks like Mrs Palmer nad Lynn are going to be up batteling it out which should get interesting.

The wedding storyline is actually interesting now.

I was hoping Kim would make a sudden movement and the officer would have to shoot her but nothing happend

I wonder how long before Jack takes out the FBI guys?

That's what i remember...there was a present (i assumed for the wedding), that the wife-beater made his wife come home and wrap. It had to be wrapped in a "special way," so i assumed it wasn't harmless.
