Xmas Music 24/7

Our local soft hits station here in Philly changed formats to All Christmas Music til Dec 26 about two weeks ago. Any radio stations near you do this? Just wondering if this is just local or a national trend.

[singing]365 days of Christmas each year
365 days of Christmas each year
365 days of Christmas, 365 days of Christmas,
365 days of Christmas each year [/singing]

well, except on a leap year, then it's 366 days... wouldn't that suck? that one extra day of Christmas music would probably kill me faster than a Kathy Lee Gifford Christmas album.

The only thing more annoying than Christmas music at Christmas is Christmas music when it isn't Christmas, which is why I have a tradition of pulling out the Christmas music on the 4th of July!

It's done at a radio station here too. I forgot what it used to play, but this is the second year we've had an all-Christmas format station for December.

I don't listen to it, because there are only a handful of Christmas songs that I really like, so I don't need to tune in.

Fortunately, I've managed to avoid Christmas music. I'm sure that once I go back to Newport News for winter break I'll be slapped across the face with it.
