My TiVo really DOES think I'm gay.
(Note: This thread title is a play off the recent Wall Street Journal article entitled If TiVo Thinks You Are Gay,
Here's How to Set It Straight.)
I was looking through the stuff my TiVo had stored on it tonight when I saw one of the things that it had thought, for some reason unfathomable to me, that I'd like, and recorded for me without asking.
The program was entitled Gay Bingo. And it was pretty much what it sounds like.
The hell? Is this what I get for having a season pass to Gilmore Girls?
Some of my WishLists are "Army," "Documentary & War," and "Sports/Football & Texas." You'd think that'd be enough. Maybe my WishList for "Holmes, Katie" confused it, though.

It seemed to me that the problem most of the tivo users had in that article was that they used the three thumbs down for getting rid of programming. You never ever ever want to give three thumbs down to any programs on tivo (except for advertising programming). Tivo can't handle anything more than two thumbs down if you really don't like something. Tivo wigs out.

We should trade TiVos. My wishlist for "beefcake" only picks up South Park for some strange reason.
