Some Pretty Tough Choices to Pick!
You sure made the Poll hard!(which is a great thing!),but I went
with the MIB series since I feel it has the lowest chance of winning
the poll-and I always root for the underdogs.

I'm not really sure about this. See, anything with just two movies doesn't qualify to me as a "series", so that would disqualify me voting for Men in Black (two), Spider-man (one movie), Lord of the Rings (one movie), American Pie (two), or The Matrix (one movie) and I really think I'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel if I voted for Friday, Austin Powers, or Kevin Smith. (Low brow)
So, I guess that leaves me with Star Wars. Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back are two of my all-time favorites and I also really enjoyed Return of the Jedi and Phantom Menace. Haven't seen Episode II yet, but still seems like this is my favorite of these.
This poll isn't really representative of "favorite movies/genres of all-time" though, considering that 9/10ths of the choices are strictly from the past decade or so, and all of the choices are low comedy, sci-fi/fantasy, or action.

Too many great movies to limit the choice to a list that small so I will refrain from the vote. I would have to choose other if it was a choice.

Hmmm. I have to agree with LBPound that two films doesn't make a series. I've not seen the "Friday" series, and outside of technical innovation, I don't think all that higly of the Star Wars movies.
The Kevin Smith films don't feel (to me) like a series any more than the Stanley Kubrik or Choen Brothers films would be a series. Those (the Kevin Smith films) probably belong more in a favorite directors poll. (I don't think that simply having the same characters in films makes them a series)
Guess the Austin Powers films are a series. But I just can't place them high enough to vote for them - fun, but not a genre that deserves a best of anything for me.
So - I guess If I'm to call everything in this poll a series, irrespective of how many films are out, it's going to have to be LOTR. Even if there's only one film out, we know it's destined to be a series of three films. Eventually.

It's called the Jersey Trilogy my friend
Also... as far as defining series/genres, i just went as broad as i could, and basically, these movies are my favorite and i was just lookin' at how many other people like these/ and which they like. Series i'm lookin' at includes movies to come which you can already judge in my view somewhat due to similar production qualities most likely (as in LOTR). So... basically... just lookin' for opinions out of the movies (my favorites, minus HP of course)

Spiderman series?
Matrix series?
LOTR series?
C'mon...these movies haven't yet been seen.
How about
Godfather series
Back to the Future series
Die Hard series
Lethal Weapon series
Pink Panther series
Bruce Lee series
Clint Eastwood "Man With No Name" Series
Dirty Harry Series
I had to pick Star Wars because it is the only series in the poll that is actually a series....

Good answer Big Quasimodo
Godfather series and Pink Panther series can easily be added to my list. I also like Eastwood a lot
