Was Hoping Harry would to a lot better but at least he got Eminem out of the first place. There is justice.

Well i'm shocked! Half Past Dead is number 5. The apocalypse is on it's way.The rest of the list looks like i thought it would.I stll can't believe Greek Wedding is in the top 10 let alone 6.What theaters is this thing playing in.By the way you missed spelled office to orifice in the thread title.

considering it's a sequel, i would say HP2 did pretty well considering IIRC that is only about 6M less then the first one's opening.

Isn't this supposed to be like the biggest opening ever? Or atleast in the top 3? $87mil in just 3 days is kinda umm, insane!

Probably not the biggest opening ever, but its definetly in the top 5 openings.

Does this mean that this past weekend was a no brainer? I figured Harry Potter would be #1 anyway. I wonder how it will fare James Bond?

It's #3, behind Spider-man ($114m) and the first Harry Potter ($90m.)

Warner has gone on the record as saying that a "70 million range" would have been amazing. They even ended up undercutting the weekend estimate to $87.69 million - which is rare - most studios overshoot by a million or two.
