LOTR and Episode II at The Wiz
So I get shut down on AOTC at TRU in Times Sq.
Trek over to the Wiz at 5th and 46th.

LOTR EE 24.98...Nice.
AOTC 16.98, tried to PM and got this response:

Mgr: Yes we PM.
*Pulls out TRU copied ad*
Mgr:That sale was yesterday only.
Me: Actually, I think it's through Nov 20th.
Mgr: Well, it's only for in stock items.
Me: So you're telling me you have in depth knowledge of another store's inventory.
Mgr:Blank stare
Me: So I guess 'Nobody Beats the Wiz' doesn't really apply anymore.
Mgr: Blank stare
Me:Nevermind.

Wow, that sucks. Good price on the LOTR EE, but it peeves me when a store doesn't even attempt to follow through on their spiel about Price Matching.

I'd try calling the wiz's customer service line.
I had a similar situation at best buy, and they refunded me the difference.

24.98 is definitely a bargain on LOTR EE for a B&M.

In the future, I guess I will have to post twice to avoid emoticons.
