I was wondering if anyone has made purchases with the Amazon Platnium Visa on the Amazon.ca site. If so, is there and sort of fee if I were to buy stuff with U.S. dollars? American Express doesn't, but they don't except that card. So I'm left with Mastercard and Visa. So far, my Mastercard charges 3% of the total amount...

Visa and Mastercard do not surcharge or charge any fee for foregin purchases. However, they will add a small percentage to the exchange rate when they do the conversion, so will AMEX.
